Morning Light Choir’s Music Summer Camp Kicks Off with Great Success

Clemmons, NC, July 3, 2024 – The Morning Light Community Center buzzed with excitement as the first day of the Music Summer Camp, hosted by the Morning Light Choir, began with a resounding success. This initiative, aimed at nurturing musical talent within the Latino community, offers an inclusive, family-like environment where participants can explore their passion for music at no cost.

«I am beyond thrilled with the ‘Music Summer Camp: Morning Light.’ My daughters are so excited about something creative, and it’s wonderful to see them sing with such enthusiasm. What makes me even happier is that they are singing in Spanish. I am very excited that this program will also help them not lose their love for Spanish and its Latin culture. This camp has been an incredible experience for our family, and I can’t wait to see all the wonderful things my daughters will learn and achieve here.» – Angela Lopez

The camp is made possible through in collaboration of the Arts Council of Winston Salem, the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA), Comunidad Mujer Valiosa, and the Morning Light Community Center. Their contributions ensure that this enriching program remains accessible to all community members.
