OUR PROGRAMS
At Comunidad Mujer Valiosa, we believe communities thrive when people have access to opportunities to learn, lead, create, and grow together.
That is why we offer year-round programs focused on three core areas: Entrepreneurship & Economic Development, Arts, Culture & Literacy, and Leadership & Community Engagement.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
We help entrepreneurs and small business owners develop the mindset, skills, and connections needed to start, strengthen, and grow successful businesses.
Our programs combine practical training, mentorship, leadership development, and community-building to promote economic mobility and entrepreneurial success.
Business Connection
Monthly networking meetings designed to connect entrepreneurs, community leaders, and professionals. Each gathering provides opportunities to build relationships, share resources, learn from guest speakers, and strengthen the Latino business ecosystem in our region.
LESP – Latino Entrepreneur Success Program
Our signature entrepreneurship program provides Spanish-language training in entrepreneurial mindset, leadership, business planning, marketing, goal setting, and personal development. Participants gain practical tools to turn ideas into action and build sustainable businesses.
Latino Business Day Expo
An annual celebration of Latino entrepreneurship where local business owners showcase their products and services, connect with new customers, and access community resources. This event strengthens the visibility of Latino-owned businesses and promotes economic development throughout our community.
ARTS, CULTURE & LITERACY
We celebrate our cultural heritage while fostering creativity, literacy, learning, and artistic expression for all ages. We believe arts and culture are powerful tools for strengthening identity, building community, and creating opportunities for future generations.
Latino Authors Festival
Bilingual events that connect students and families with Latino authors, promoting reading, writing, and cultural pride. Through presentations, workshops, and interactive activities, we inspire the next generation of readers, writers, and leaders.
Bilingual Book Clubs
Welcoming spaces for youth and adults to engage with culturally relevant literature in both Spanish and English. Participants strengthen literacy skills, develop critical thinking, practice English, and build meaningful community connections.
Watercolor Arts Program
Creative arts classes for children, youth, and adults that encourage artistic expression, creativity, and intergenerational engagement. These experiences provide opportunities for wellness, learning, and family connection through art.
LEADERSHIP & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
We believe every person has the potential to lead, serve, and make a positive impact.
Our programs develop leaders, strengthen volunteerism, and create opportunities to celebrate and elevate individuals who contribute to the well-being of our community.
Expande Summit
Our annual leadership and personal growth conference brings together entrepreneurs, community leaders, volunteers, and professionals to learn, connect, and grow. The Summit provides practical training, inspiration, and opportunities to build lasting support networks.
Mujer Valiosa Awards
An annual celebration honoring Latina women who demonstrate leadership, entrepreneurship, volunteerism, and community service. These awards elevate role models, recognize achievements, and inspire others to lead and serve.
End-of-Year Community Celebration
A special gathering that recognizes volunteers, program participants, community leaders, and families who make our work possible. This celebration strengthens the spirit of gratitude, belonging, and community that defines Mujer Valiosa.
Leadership & Volunteer Development
Throughout the year, participants are invited to develop leadership skills, serve as volunteers, mentor others, and contribute to the continued growth of our programs and community initiatives.

Welcome to Comunidad Mujer Valiosa
At Comunidad Mujer Valiosa, we believe that every person has gifts, talents, and experiences that can positively impact their family, community, and future. Our mission is to equip Latina women and their families through education, entrepreneurship, leadership development, arts, literacy, and cultural enrichment.
What began as a passion for literature and personal growth has evolved into a vibrant community where individuals come together to learn, create, lead, and thrive. Through year-round programs, workshops, events, mentoring, literacy initiatives, and entrepreneurship training, we create opportunities for people to develop new skills, build meaningful relationships, and discover pathways toward personal and economic growth.
