About us

Comunidad Mujer Valiosa was founded on a simple belief: when women are empowered, families thrive, businesses grow, and communities become stronger.
We are a community-led nonprofit organization serving Latino families throughout North Carolina through culturally relevant programs that promote entrepreneurship, leadership, literacy, creativity, and community engagement. Our work creates welcoming spaces where individuals feel seen, valued, and supported as they develop new skills, build meaningful relationships, and pursue their goals.
Through year-round programming, we help participants strengthen their confidence, expand their opportunities, and become active contributors to their communities.
